Welcome to the Eastbourne Model Power Boat Club website.
We are a group of model boat enthusiasts  who sail regularly on the ponds at Eastbourne and Hailsham. We hope you enjoy our new website.

Princes Park Eastbourne where sailing is available every day but our club days are Sunday and Wednesday afternoons.

As well as powered boats our members also make and sail various types of yachts similar to this one pictured at Hailsham Common Pond.

The club also sails at the Common Pond in Hailsham on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Sunday 26th July Swiss Cottage Model Boat Club  are having their ‘Bring and Buy’ day at Shoreham, 10.30 – 16.00, all are welcome to attend.


22nd – 23rd August The RNLI College at Poole has announced that it will be holding its open weekend . For those who have not been in previous years this is great chance to see how the RNLI works, with full access to their extensive training facilities and simulators. There are also displays in the harbour as well as lifeboats to visit. More details will be posted on the RNLI website in the near future.


Sunday 6th September Ramsgate Vikings 29th Model Ships Rally will take place at The Boating Pool on the Royal Esplanade Ramsgate CT11 0HE between 10 and 4.30. We have been invited to attend as a club so if anyone is interested in going please let me know.


12th – 13th September The Model Show 2015 at Headcorn Aerodrome. Gates open at 9.30 and the entrance price is £12 for adults on the gate and £10.50 if you book in advance on line.


Sunday 20th September Swiss Cottage Model Boat Club  are having their Lifeboat day at Shoreham, 10.30 – 16.00, all are welcome to attend.


Club members please note that the yacht club will be holding all day sailing events at Princes Park on the following dates:  July 4th, 5th and 26th. August 16th and November 8th. This means that we will not be using the Princes Park pond on those days. Thank you.
